Research interests and skills

I am a practicing clinician/researcher and director of a multidisciplinary allied health practice in Sydney. In 2014 I completed my clinical master’s in Chiropractic and immediately began my higher degrees by research in Psychology. My research investigates psychological processes in chronic health conditions, drawing upon elements of Psychology, Health Services and Neurobiology. My research incorporates aspects of population health, randomised control trials of physical and behavioural interventions, psychometric analyses, and psychophysiological experimental paradigms.

Ongoing research

  • Selection of therapeutic interventions in patients presenting for chiropractic care in Australia and Canada: secondary analysis of COAST and OCOAST data (CARL project with Hazel Jenkins, Aron Downie, James Young, Jessica Wong, David McNaughton, Cecile K Øverås, Eric Roseen, and Jan Hartvigsen)

  • Epidemiology of psychological processes related to low back

  • Enhancing the integration of psychological and physical therapy in patients with chronic pain
