After a decade in clinical practice with occasional research gigs the time was ripe for a part-time PhD enrollment in 2024.

My research analyzes a non-randomized clinical trial for a novel hospital-based treatment for chronic low back pain and will compare our results to the national gold standard using national registry data. My broader research interests also include social security medicine and patient safety.

I wanted to join CARL from the moment I heard about the program. I even put it as a goal in my PhD plan! I am very pleased to be selected for the third cohort!
