Sydney Residential 2023

The CARL II cohort were thrilled to get together for their second residential at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia in October 2023.

We spent three days at UTS with a fantastic range of speakers, time to begin new projects and progress ongoing ones, and some yoga and meditation. We were also fortunate to visit the chiropractic program at Macquarie University for one day, exploring their facilities and hearing from inspiring leaders.

A common theme for this residential was around creative, inter-disciplinary, and translational thinking. We also shared our professional challenges, and brainstormed solutions as a group. Along the way, the CARL II cohort continued to build a sense of support and community that will be invaluable in our research careers.
